Wai-ora Whanaungatanga is an opportunity to gather and share our God given talents and giftings. It is where people meet to share time, food and life.
We aim to hold informal and short Church Services at Wai-ora every 3 – 4 months with regular gatherings and social occasions in between. Occasions such as movies and meals, pizza and praise, bon fires and karaoke, board games nights or a rugby match
We meet at Wai-ora every 3 – 4 months. People come from all walks of life, some are regular church goers at other churches but come to these whanaungatanga services when they are on. Others have never set foot in a church and yet other are Christians that just don’t fit into the “regular” church structure. There’s no long winded preaching, no offering just an opportunity to sing some old church songs, share a testimony or encouraging word along with share food and life.
Social Get Togethers
In between the Whanaungatanga Services we meet to have fun.
Pot Luck dinners, Karaoke nights, Bon fires, Waka Ama, BBQ’s watching sport on the big screen, Movies and numerous other things are being planned all the time.
Everyone has talents and gifting’s and we are always looking at how we can offer the opportunity for people to share those with others.
We are looking to utilise those people to share in the areas of healing, prayer, bible studies, music and the arts.
Children are a huge part of the whanau and they are given the opportunity to play “in the bank” at every whanaungatanga service.
