Description

Compact spreading shrub with felted grey-green leaves. Clusters of bright yellow flowers with radiating petals, hardy. Flowers in summer.

Endemic to the North Island of New Zealand, confined to the southern region. Rare in the wild, found inhabiting rocky sites, primarily a coastal species but may extend inland up river gorges and in exposed bluffs.
