Description

Olearia arborescens is a spreading, bushy, evergreen shrub, or small tree . Commonly known as Tree Daisy for its clusters of showy daisy-like flowers in Spring to early Summer. Dark green leaves, shiny above, pale beneath. Hardy, but prefers well-drained or even dry site.

It grows in lowland to alpine scrubland in the North Island from East Cape southwards, and throughout the South and Stewart Islands.
